Samhain 2026: The Deeper Vision of Our Halloween Costumes

Welcome, everybody, to spooky season.

It wouldn’t be tradition if I didn’t share something for this wonderful time of year as we prepare to enter what the angels have called the dead zone. There’s a subtle toning down in the air no matter where you are, a quiet shift as the divine feminine rests and the season of harvest and reflection begins. This year feels especially different with Venus in retrograde, inviting us to look deeper at the true roots of Halloween, the innocence it was meant to hold, and the beauty that has so often been corrupted. We tried to show what Venus in retro shows on both sides. Beauty, the scary, the consequence, and fear. Next year, we’ll return it back direct, with Heaven. I hope you understand the symbolism.

We’re getting ready to enter what the angels have called the dead zone. It’s not like that in other parts of the world, obviously, where it’s hot and beautiful like Florida or the Caribbean, or sometimes in the Middle East and Africa. But there’s just something in the air. A toning down of sorts, no matter where you are.

Therefore, it’s not just about it being cold or wintry, although for people who live in areas that get snow, it certainly adds to it.

I’ve been thinking about my life lately, and I truly want to leave New Jersey. We can’t afford the house anyway, but with all the predictions saying that we need to get on a plan, we need to start figuring out what we’re going to do in regards to saving money and finding a better location. I would love to live somewhere where it’s fair weather most of the time, but to be honest with you, I would miss seeing the changing seasons and the winter snow, which I pray for at least once a year on my birthday, as many of you know.

Today is Halloween. My father, as a mystic, never really did reveal that by mouth until later confessions after I started my business. He would make little remarks here and there about the things I shared, which showed me that he was someone I could lean on more with my psychic gifts and experiences. Without him, I don’t know where I would be. I see how God worked through him at times, but the Word sometimes said things that were far above anything my father could provide in terms of knowledge. And even when my father thought he was right, being the older and wiser one, he was wrong. Still, he did share a love of Halloween.

Halloween is not truly on October 31, as many people think. In many of my blogs, I’ve described the changing of the new year. It used to be in April, which is true. This is the true start of the zodiac calendar, and it’s when spring comes and things are represented by the goddess to be reborn. In this, the April Fools joke comes from the fact that the government changed it to January to start a new calendar in Capricorn, where they were leading their age toward the end in their agenda. Funny how they knew about it even then, right? If you look at my book, The Veil of Illusion: The Rise of the Antichrist, I go into this more, although I’m sure that a lot of the information is out there now with a lot of conspiracy theories throughout the years, whistleblowers, and also people that have come across my stuff.

Nonetheless, the true start of the harvest celebrations was September 21 at the turn of the earth and its equinox. This is where the true holiday began, to celebrate the innocence of nature and saying goodbye to the goddess and welcoming the masculine spirit back for a time. Just like the sun goes up every night and dies for the moon to rise symbolically, the seasons go through their birth and rebirth. But everything is represented by spirit, for all is consciousness. And the consciousness of spring in season is the divine feminine.

However, this year I did something different. Venus went into retrograde in October. Right as we approached, the divine goddess went into a reversal state. Venus is representing the goddess because in many traditions, mythology, and so on, Venus is the planet of a feminine vibe and of love and beauty. There are deeper spiritual reasons why Venus is the one for that, but we’ll go into that another time. For now, I thought, what would be a great way to represent our goddess in her reverse state? And then you have to think about women when they’re not in their right mind. They want attention, they want to feel beautiful, they want to be wanted, they want to know that they’re loved.

So I started to do a few dance videos to show women that they could be beautiful without being trashy, to show them that they can be alluring without being too much, but only for the time. For everything has a time, and I believe I added that scripture in there as well. As Ecclesiastes 3:4 says, “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” And so I projected the female energy of the goddess while also promoting a new video on YouTube about Venus going retrograde, explaining what it would do with relationships and how people would feel within, and even in careers. If you want to check it out, it’s up: Venus Said “Let’s Review the Receipts”: Divine Feminine Lessons This Fall. You can find more on my channel at www.youtube.com/AluraCein.

If not, that’s okay too. But that was why I started the videos. Plus I love music of all kinds and I love the dance, so I started with a few of my favorite songs, and I may keep posting them with a lot of wisdom but just in different ways. But for the Venus retrograde, I wanted it to represent her in all her stunning beauty. It’s definitely not a reel for people to look at me, so please, if you had that thought in mind, know that I’m just channeling the goddess energy for a moment. Although I do try to channel her a lot, in this lifetime, since I’ve already mastered her energy a long time ago, as well as the Heavenly Father’s with my enlightenment, I do try to focus more on the balance of their teachings.

They are one.

As many of you know, I don’t like horror. Although I am a fan of deeply paranormal movies because I live the experience, and I like to see how they tried to recreate it. Some movies really do have a really great way of explaining things that I’ve seen, just like my example of Insidious in the soul swapping video I did. But I don’t like blood or gore, and I won’t watch it. I don’t watch any sexualized adult content or anything like that. I watch a lot of children’s movies, even before I had the little ones. We used to watch beautiful Chinese dramas, spiritually related television or shows, meditation music, or we would be learning something from heavenly homework or meditating transcendentally. But I have learned so many things, including instruments, which I’d also like to share, but I’ve been a little bit hesitant because I would prefer to wait until I’m really good. But who cares, right? We’re all in the process of learning something, and I think I’ve done okay. Maybe I’ll pop a video up here and there.

Nonetheless, I was trying to think of really great characters for my kids for Halloween costumes, and I thought, since we’re broke this year, it would be cool if we could use what we had. Adriel, one of the cheerleaders, she’s already a cheerleader. We have her costume. We can dress her up a little bit, make her a bit spooky if she wants. It’s okay, make her a ghost or something like that in the costume. And then Alexander can do the same with his baseball gear. I was like, spirit of a deceased baseball player. I was going to do a referee.

Yet because of my son Noah liking to be an agitator, seemingly every year having to pick a costume that he knows absolutely terrifies the crap out of me, he had to go and pick a scary clown every single year of his life. Yet one movie that I forbid is Terrifier. This movie is absolutely horrifying and reminds me of something you’d see on the dark web. They certainly took the horror genre in a whole different direction with that one. It’s absolutely despicable. Especially the last one, because my son said they actually had children killed in the movie, which is absolutely unacceptable. In this respect, my son Alexander thought it’d be funny to dress up as a killer clown from outer space because he heard me talking to my son Noah about how my dad watched the movie once and it scared me with nightmares for a long time when I was a little girl. Looking back, the movie is ridiculous and really stupid, or too much for a little kid. Thinking about all the starseeds I know about, and different spirits that can look kind of terrifying, clownish and evil, the face of a clown just always got to me. And so Noah was supposed to pair up with his little brother and dress up like one of the killer clowns too that year, but he decided to go a different route with his girlfriend, and little Alexander got stuck being Shorty the clown from Killer Klowns from Outer Space instead. He thought it was absolutely funny because he asked me which clown out of all of them I was more scared of, and when I showed him, he went for the smaller one because, being little, he thought it would be cuter than being a little more of the scarier ones. With this costume, he won a costume contest at a kids’ fun place. I know I probably told many of you about this before, so I’ll skip the details and just jump into what we’re doing this year.

Aside from my ghostly referee and cheerleader and baseball player, I was thinking maybe we all met in the underworld because of the sports. I mean, we’re all going to be together in spirit one day too anyhow, and we did do the sports as we were living, so I thought it was very symbolic. But we went a bit further with Alexander’s costume in the symbolism. He wanted to be cool like his big brother and do something that was very Halloween-like. And so we flipped through characters, and obviously I’m not going to dress them up like some serial killer or something terrible like that because I would be against that. But there is this little guy named Sam from the movie Trick ’r Treat. I have not watched this movie myself, and I beg you not to as well. I had to do research on the character and what it represented, and that was all. But while I was there, there were movie clips, and it’s definitely something I don’t recommend watching if you’re trying to stick to clean material. I get the idea of the movie and what it’s representing, and I’ll get to that in a minute. But there is a little character who is a tiny little guy in a onesie, walking around with this little pumpkin lollipop innocently with his little sackcloth head.

To me, I knew there had to be something deeper to the character itself, and so I explored.

I remember when they were tiny bears! Instagram @alifeofvirtues show their life story. Check it out!

The character is named Sam, obviously because the name of Halloween, which is Samhain. And he is said to embody the size of a child to represent the innocence of Halloween and what it’s really supposed to represent: the innocence of nature, people remembering spirit and purity, love, fertility. His body does not have blood, but it’s filled with pumpkin seeds, and when he takes the mask off, he is a horrifying, skeletal pumpkin guy. And the reason for that is because of his anger that he has towards humans and what they’ve turned Halloween into. And so I like that idea because I feel the same way. Now, I think the little guy does kill people in the movie that are bad, and I don’t agree with any vigilante type of stuff or murders, but I did think if we just stuck to a lollipop, it would be a cute little costume for what it deeply represented, solidly in terms of nature and the spirit of the holiday. And so that’s what Alexander is going to be.

Alex found a neighbor had a blow up Sam on their lawn!

I remember I didn’t get to do Halloween much when I was a little girl. My mother didn’t do anything with me much, and to be honest with you, my dad only got to do Halloween with me a few times because he worked so much to keep things going. But when he did, he really liked to dress up, and so this is a very special time of year to remember him, and since he also passed away in October, one of his favorite seasons. But it’s more than that. I respect the divine feminine as she goes to sleep. People need to see that the beauty of what things are meant to represent are often so greatly corrupted here. In my past lifetime, I remember the holiday and how it’s changed even up until present day, and it’s heart-wrenching. Nature, rest, and getting ready to collect the seeds for next year’s growth as you collect what you’ve built or grown already. A very powerful way of looking at the year so that you can always remain planting those seeds and collecting for the next harvest so that you’re always in some form of growth or movement.

My zombie cheerleader.

Whether it be wisdom seeds for spirituality and growth, or working hard on goals so that you can survive, the harvest time represents always being prepared for anything. And that shouldn’t have turned into a holiday representing serial killers, or a cash grab for candy and money for one day out of what’s supposed to be celebrated the entire season.

I love you all!
