Heavenly Homework

I do so many readings for others but this time I want to share my gratitude and enthusiasm that I feel from having had my own. Heavenly Homework, being one in particular.

Every month, I receive what I like to call my “heavenly homework.” This divine assignment comes to me not through any earthly means but as a communication with the Lord or the angels he sends as messengers. We do this once a month myself aside from guiding others in their journey.

This guides me toward new goals, interests, and challenges that help me grow into the person I am meant to be. It is a beautiful reminder that the Lord desires our happiness and believes that education and personal development are integral to achieving it.

As I reflect on the ways this heavenly guidance has shaped my life, I find myself filled with gratitude and excitement. Each task has opened a door to new experiences, allowing me to expand my horizons and discover talents I never knew I possessed. For instance, I have learned to tackle home improvement projects that once intimidated me, such as plumbing, drywall installation, flooring, and tiling. These skills not only beautify my living space but also empower me to take ownership of my home. When we had a hole in the wall, I was able to repair it. When we needed a new faucet in the kitchen, I was able to install it myself. Each successful project has served as a testament to my abilities and has brought me closer to the Lord, who knows all things. Although, I can’t fix all damages yet, I’m knowledgeable about a lot because of the Lord, and it helps. He even taught me how work on cars a little.

My heavenly homework has encouraged me to dive into the world of landscaping, and gardening when funds allowed. As a woman, this journey has been particularly fulfilling, as I have defied societal norms and embraced my capabilities in areas traditionally dominated by men. I have learned to wield tools with confidence, cultivating both my garden, fixing my home, and expanding my self-esteem.

Beyond the physical realm, my heavenly assignments have led me to explore the arts and languages. Over the years, I have taken up multiple instruments, each one adding a unique melody to my life. From the gentle strumming of my favorite instruments in the string family, to the soulful notes of the piano, music has become a sanctuary for my spirit.

Additionally, knowing angelic light language as a child naturally, the heavens advised venturing into the world of languages, dabbling in Spanish, Hebrew, and Mandarin, Sign language, Gaelic, and old English, to deepen my understanding of diverse cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life. Right now, I am learning Urdu.

Dance has also been a vital part of my journey. Whether it’s the graceful movements of ballet, the spirited steps of kickboxing, or the rhythm of tai chi, each form of dance has taught me the importance of expression and joy in movement. I’ve even dipped my toes into opera, exploring the power of my voice and the emotions it can convey.

My heavenly homework hasn’t stopped there; it has pushed me to embrace physical challenges such as tai chi and tennis, which have nurtured my body and spirit. These activities have not only improved my physical health but have also taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of balance in life.

Intellectually, the heavens have me pursue many forms of knowledge, cultures, foods, writing, and poetry. I love reading so it’s never disappointing when the angels give me a subject to explore.

Becoming enlightened is about learning a variety of different things. It is about expanding your knowledge greatly and discovering the beauty in diverse experiences. The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, always chooses activities that He knows I will end up loving, ensuring that they will contribute to my quality of life. Each new skill I acquire brings me closer to Him, as I recognize that the journey of self-improvement is a reflection of His desire for us to thrive.

I recognize that wisdom is not merely spiritual knowledge; it encompasses all aspects of life. Learning how to work on cars, interior decorating, gardening, and even the art of singing have contributed to my growth and enlightenment.

Heavenly homework serves as a constant reminder that pursuing our goals and interests can lead to immense joy. It teaches us that education is not confined to classrooms; rather, it is a lifelong journey of discovery.

As I continue to receive these monthly assignments, I am excited to see where this divine guidance will lead me next. The Lord truly desires our happiness, and through this heavenly homework, I am learning to embrace life with open arms and an open heart. Especially when it all comes together and reveals purpose. I have really learned that it all comes together for a greater purpose.

For example, learning sign language helped me greatly as a child because I ended up with a neighbor that was deaf. I was told to learn it prior to her moving in. And then later on my little girls kindergarten teacher wanted her to learn it. Strange how it all connects.

Additionally, the Lord knew that my father wouldn’t be around forever, and learning how to fix certain things or install them in my home, has been greatly helpful to my home and my mother who owns it. While, I can’t do everything, it’s still a little cheaper when I can install faucet or fix a broken toilet on my own. Even when there were holes in the wall, I was able to patch them up pretty well. I’m even able to build things in carpentry.

Sometimes in heavenly homework, I am even given challenges to push me and test my strength mentally, physically or emotionally. Everything that I’ve been told to learn, I didn’t always understand why I was told to learn it, but later I would understand why God would push me in those directions for understanding. I really enjoy my heavenly homework, and I find it’s made me an interesting person that’s very diverse with varieties of hobbies and interests.

I was even led to sports on occasion. But overall, I have favorites out of all that I’ve learned and experienced.

I don’t really follow many sports, but I do have a soft spot for hockey, basketball, and baseball. Attending a game in person has always been on my bucket list! I have fond memories of my dad watching boxing and only tuning in for the Super Bowl. I can still vividly recall the Tyson vs. Holyfield match from my childhood, even though football and boxing never captured my interest as a viewer.

When it comes to participating in sports, I enjoy playing tennis and practicing Taebo. I have a deep love for Tai Chi and dancing, and I take pride in my dancing skills. I’m even considering sharing some of my dance routines on social media reels!

Music and singing are also close to my heart. I play several instruments and have recorded three new songs that I might share one day. I tend to be a bit shy about putting myself out there, though!

Most of my interests and activities stem from my “heavenly homework,” guiding me toward new experiences and personal growth.

In addition to all that, I have a passion for reading, writing, digital content creation, sculpting, drawing, and painting.

What about you? What are your passions and interests? I’d love to hear about them!

For me, life may have had its trials but with heaven guiding the way, it’s been enriching. Following their advice helps me in so many ways.
